Water-treatment dosing automation

Requirement

Chemical dosing was adjusted manually, causing delayed responses when the inlet water quality changed.

Our approach

Dosing, process and energy monitoring were consolidated on a single platform using a Mitsubishi iQ-R-based PLC and SCADA. Automatic dosing adjustment based on inlet parameters and an alarm infrastructure were implemented.

Outcome

Dosing is adjusted automatically, and process data is recorded.
